Here are the terms and conditions relating to our media and the services we provide

Our Rates and Terms


Sky High Media retains the copyright of all photography and film content. We will supply the client with the full use of the material, however they will not be allowed to sell the footage or allow 3rd party companies to use it without the agreement of Sky High Media. Sky High Media also reserve the right to use any footage taken for our own show reel or for publicity. If you have any questions or issues with the above terms, please don't hesitate to contact us and we will be more than happy to discuss your requirements.

Booking and Deposits

Once you have supplied us with all the information you can and we have done our pre-flight survey to establish if the job is possible under the restrictions imposed by the CAA, we will arrange a site visit. Once this has been completed and the objective of the job has been discussed with the client, we will require a 50% deposit to secure the booking. On completion of the job the remaining balance will be required before the footage is released by Sky High Media. We will obviously be more than happy to show the client the footage before payment is made.


Each job is different and as a result we try to give quotes on a job-by-job basis. Please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Weather Conditions

Due to the UK's rather un-predicatble weather, sometimes it may not be possible to fly on the day you book. We will obviously keep you updated at the earliest conveinence and check accurate aviation weather forecasts in the run up to the date. In these circumstances we will arrange a new date with you free of charge.


Once Sky High Media has recived your booking and the deposit, you have a right to cancel the appointment up until 14 days before the booked date. After this time we reserve the right to retain 50% of the deposit. Cancellations made within 5 days of the booked date will not receive any refund due to the pre-flight survey and the work which will have already gone into planning the job. 


Terms and Conditions of Contract

  1. By booking an appointment or purchasing a service from Sky High Media, it is your understanding that the following criteria will need to be met, in accordance with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), in order for Sky High Media to be able to undertake the contract discussed or documented.

  2. Under the Air Navigation Order CAP393, Sky High Media, are unable to fly our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) within 50m of people, property, congested areas, structures, vehicles or vessels which are not under the control of the person in charge of the aircraft. In these instances, Sky High Media will take what actions are reasonably practicable to ensure control of such situations. Additional costs/disruption may be incurred by ensuring the safety of those items out of our control.

  3. The Pilot in Command (PIC) will have the final say if flying can commence, based on favourable weather conditions and other safety criteria being met.

  4. If the booked date for the contract to commence is unsuitable due to adverse weather conditions we shall re-arrange a new date with the client at no additional cost.

  5. If conditions outside our control (other than those listed above at '4'), arise on the day of flying, which mean flying can not take place, there may be additional costs involved to re-arrange your booking.

  6. We reserve the right to amend/change/add to our terms of contract at any time and without prior notice.
